Biography
Dr. Kwun Nam HUI is an assistant professor, Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Macau, Taipa, Macau, China. His current research focuses on synthesis of hierarchical carbon/graphene materials as well as on the development of 3D hierarchical metal oxide materials as advanced electrode materials for energy storage and conversion applications. His research has led to one US patent, 7 Korea patents, four review papers, three book chapters, 86 peer-reviewed SCI journal papers. He has served as guest editor/member of the editorial board of a number of journals.
Research Interest
Applications of nano-porous catalysts/adsorbents/nanowires such as zeolite, MCM-41/SBA-15, MWCNT, graphene composites, Co3O4, etc. in air purification, catalytic combustion, energy production/storage, water treatment, organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), ZnO based photovoltaic cell, III-V semiconductors LEDs and solid-state lighting.
